Semiquantitative Procedure for the Simultaneous Spectrographic Determination of Thirty Elements in Powder Samples

Abstract

A semiquantitative procedure for the simultaneous determination of a large number of elements in powder samples is described. Use is made of rapid evaporation of the samples in a controlled oxygen—argon atmosphere. Line intensities are estimated visually.
