Abstract
“What course design will be most effective?” This article, designed to help you answer that question, presents the two basic course designs and the variants or adjustments that may be made to them. It includes the required feature of each and the criterion for selection. Obviously, the course design will be a deciding factor as to which methods/media will best support instruction. Course design shall be approached from a general standpoint, we shall break course design into two broad areas: self-paced and group/lockstep.
