Comments on Birch and Abelson's “Is Reasonable Access What We Want?”

The inequitable distribution of mortality and morbidity in Canadian Society is the result not so much of inequities due to cost barriers to health care, as identified by Birch and Abelson, as of inequities in sectors outside the health care system.
