Abstract
THE JOURNAL is glad to print this story, which from the standpoint of music educators is of more than passing news interest. All credit to the vision and enterprise of the North Carolinians who have made this state symphony venture possible. Perhaps other states which are maintaining or promoting similar projects would like to report to the nation through these columns.
