Abstract
The second biennial MENC student essay competition—“To Identify Future Music Education Leadership”—turned up three winners who actively participated in sessions at the National MENC Convention in Chicago in March 1970. Two of the winning papers have already been printed in Vibrations, and the third, by John R. Hill, a music education major and member of Chapter 73, Ball State University, Muncie, Indiana, is printed below.—Ed.
