QUAP is designed to tabulate and analyze replies to multiple-choice questions. It provides number and percentage counts, means, the Kolmogorov-Smirnov and Chi Square tests, and other statistical measures. For this study, the Kolmogorov-Smirnov statistic was deemed the most important measure, as it tests whether the responses of office managers from large and small firms, on the multiple-category questions, are statistically different. The .05 level of significance was used to judge whether there were significant differences in the relative frequency of responses of the two groups of executives in each of the categories. Wherever statements are made that the responses are significantly different, the .05 level of significance has been applied.
