Responses of 435 students to 6 questions from Hippocrates indicated considerable queasiness perceived in the hypothetical situations posed. Eating after someone else, especially if the person is unfamiliar, elicited more response than other situations. Students and the original respondents to the magazine's inquiry rated the situations in a similar manner.
