Discrepancy in Perceived Decision-Making Roles and Argument Level within Marital Dyads

This study examined the relationship between discrepant perceptions of marital decision-making roles of 31 pairs of spouses and frequency of their marital arguments. Spouses were surveyed independently, and their responses compared to obtain scores on numbers of discrepancies and arguments. These arrays yielded a Pearson correlation of .60.
