The concurrent validity of the Quick Test was investigated using a sample of 20 junior high school gifted students. Quick Test scores correlated highly with scores on the Verbal Scale but not those of the Performance Scale of the WISC—R. These findings provide evidence of both convergent and divergent validity of the Quick Test even with cognitively gifted students.
