There is a movement to terminate the use of the MMPI. Based on the demonstrated lack of comparability of MMPI and MMPI-2, it appears that linkages to the 50-yr. MMPI database are not satisfactory. Given the above limitations, caution needs to be used while the MMPI-2 database is being developed.
