Shower Cabinet in the Treatment of the Mentally ILL in Victoria: Historical Note

Abstract

The use of cold-shower therapy in Victoria is discussed in relation to practices in other parts of the world and a warning emerges as to the dangers of institutionalising therapeutic practices.
