Summary

Experiments in vitro have failed to establish an influence of pituitary gonadotropins upon the permeability of testicular cells to D-xylose-1-C¹⁴ and to α-amino-isobutyric acid-1-C¹⁴ under conditions which allow a clear-cut response with respect to the biosynthesis of steroids.
