Summary

In vitro experiments with 6-mercaptopurine have demonstrated that concentrations of the purine analog as low as 1 μAg/ml effectively disrupt the multiplication of both DNA-viruses (vaccinia, herpes simplex) and RNA-viruses (measles, polio) in established strain Lass cells.
