Summary
Plasma from cats in the early stage of irreversible post-oligemic shock depressed contractility of isolated cat papillary muscles. This depression was reversed completely by washing. Plasma from cats late in post-oligemic shock depressed developed tension to a greater degree, but this depression was only partly reversed by washing.
