Summary
(1) Zephiran chloride in a dilution of 1:10, 000 inhibits and in higher dilutions (up to 1:1, OOO, OOO) delays the clotting of oxalated human plasma by staphylococcal cultures. (2) Zephiran chloride in dilutions up to 1:1OO, OOO inhibits fibrinolysis by hemolytic streptococcus.
