Summary
The water content of the uterus and oviducts of adult rats during the period of proestrus and the end of sexual receptivity has tbeen determined. There is a significant decrease in the water content of the uterine tissue during the period of heat. No significant decrease was found in the water content of the oviducts examined during this same period.
