Summary
Rats exposed to sheep erythro-cytes before or at time of birth exhibit an un-diminished capacity for hemolysin production in response to a subsequent challenge with the same antigen given 9 to 10 weeks later. A possible explanation to account for the disparity between these results and those obtained by other investigators is offered.
