Summary
Serum levels of tetracycline activity were enhanced by the presence of D-glucosamine hydrochloride from 76% at one hour to 34% at 7 hours over those obtained after oral administration of tetracycline hydrochloride alone in a cross-over experiment with 40 pure-bred beagle dogs.
