Nmr Spectral Studies of Dimedone–Aldehyde Adducts. Part 3. A Re-Investigation of the Reaction with Cinnamaldehyde,1 H and 13 C NMR Studies of the Products
The reaction between some substituted cinnamaldehydes with dimedone and cyclohexane-1,3-dione under neutral, acidic and basic conditions have been investigated. The structures of the adducts obtained have been studied by 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopy.
