Multicomponent Reactions of Isocyanides and Dialkyl Acetylenedicarboxylate in the Presence of 2-Hydroxy-3-Methyl-2-Cyclopentene-1-One: One-Pot Synthesis of 1-Azadienes in Water
The 1: 1 reactive intermediate generated by the addition of alkyl isocyanides to dialkyl acetylenedicarboxylates was trapped by 2-Hydroxy-3-methyl-2-cyclopentene-1-one as OH-acid to yield highly functionalised 1-azadienes in water.
