Abstract
IOS Press has retracted the following two publications from its online content:

The article titled “Intelligent Cloud Agent-Based Action Recognition Detection Using Machine Learning” by L. Nalini Joseph and R. Anand [1] has been retracted from publication in the Journal of Intelligent & Fuzzy Systems (JIFS). The article was initially submitted to JIFS on September 9, 2022. At that time, the article was already under review by the journal Computers, Materials & Continua under the title “Smart Healthcare Activity Recognition Using Statistical Regression and Intelligent Learning” by K. Akilandeswari et al., who submitted their paper to Computers, Materials & Continua on July 28, 2022, and it was accepted on February 22, 2023. The JIFS paper was accepted on December 3, 2022. Post-publication analysis revealed that the two articles share a 74% exact text similarity, as indicated by an iThenticate similarity report. The authors, L. Nalini Joseph and R. Anand, concur with the retraction of their paper from the journal. The publisher has updated the original online PDF with the word “RETRACTED” watermarked on every page.
