RETRACTED: Advanced skeletal maturity in children and adolescents with myelomeningocele

At the request of Sage and the Journal Editors, the following article has been retracted:

The authors of this article contacted Sage, per their institutional review board’s request, to remove some of the participant data from the article. During an internal audit, the institutional review board concluded that the consent procedures of several participants deviated from the institution’s guidelines, therefore requiring the destruction of participants’ data.

The authors provided a revised version of their article with the requested data removed and the remaining data reanalyzed. Several of the articles’ conclusions were significantly altered by these revisions.

Due to the institutional requested data revisions altering the conclusions of the article, the Journal Editor and Sage retract this article.

T.W. responded agreeing with the editor’s decision to retract. All other authors did not respond when notified of this retraction decision.
