Limit Moments for Pipes with Circumferential Through-Wall Cracks: Experimental Verification

Abstract

Experiments on copper tubes with simulated cracks and slots in them are used to provide justification of the classical approach to assessing the limit moment carrying capacity of cracked tubular components.
