In the article, “Anal Human Papillomavirus (HPV) Prevalences and Factors Associated with Abnormal Anal Cytology in HIV-Infected Women in an Urban Cohort from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil,” published in AIDS Patient Care and STDs 2015;29:4–12, there was an error in Figure 1. Although the number of anal HPV cases was correct, the denominator used for generating anal HPV prevalences reported in Figure 1 was 700, not 781, as listed. This error did not apply to cervical HPV prevalences or the remaining analysis. The corrected figure, with the true anal HPV prevalences, is shown below, and has replaced the figure published in the online version of the article. Paragraph two of the Results section has also been updated, shown below and published online, to reflect this correction.
Anal and cervical HPV prevalences of IPEC Women's HIV Anal HPV and Lesions Study, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, 2011–2013.
The authors regret this error.
