Retraction

V iral Immunology is officially retracting the publication of “Amino acid mutations in the env gp90 protein that modify N-linked glycosylation of the Chinese EIAV vaccine stain enhanced resistance to neutralizing antibodies,” (Viral Immunology, 2010:23;531–539).

After final publication of this article, the authors contacted Viral Immunology and stated that the study was “not solidly supported by sufficient experimental data,” and indicated that the results depicted in Figure 3 were questionable and may mislead readers to make improper conclusions. After a detailed examination of the circumstances, Viral Immunology has decided to officially retract the article.

The authors sincerely apologize to our readers and reviewers for this unfortunate, but necessary, action.
