In The March 2008 issue of Human Gene Therapy (vol. 19, no. 3; pp. 287–299) the article entitled “Peroxisome Proliferator-Activated Receptor-γ1 Gene Therapy Attenuates Atherosclerosis and Stabilizes Plaques in Apolipoprotein E-Deficient Mice” requires corrections. The image of immunohistochemical staining for α-SM actin in the phosphate-buffered saline (PBS) group of Figure 2b was mistakenly used, which resulted in a similar image in the AdGFP group of Figure 2b. In addition, the image of immunohistochemical staining for tissue factor in PBS group of Figure 3a was also wrongly used, resulting in a partial overlap with the image in the AdGFP group of Figure 3a.
