Abstract

Antigen Used for Immunization
Source: murine
Form: fusion protein (GST-TCTP)
Method of Immunization
Female Balb/c mice were injected intraperitoneally with 400 μL of a 1:1 emulsion of procalcitonin fusion protein (30 μg per mouse) and complete Freund's adjuvant and then boosted with the antigen in incomplete Freund's adjuvant at 2-week intervals. After the mice received four booster shots, the immunological response was assessed by ELISA based on the titer. Prior to fusion, the mice were again boosted with 30 μg of the antigen in phosphate-buffered saline (PBS, pH 7.2).(1)
