Abstract
This issue is dedicated to articles presented at the 28th Annual Congress for Endosurgery in Children in Santiago, Chile, March 20–22, 2019. This is the first issue dedicated to an IPEG congress. A record 628 surgeons from around the world attended the congress. A total of 467 abstracts were submitted and 274 were accepted. I thank the members of Pediatric Editorial Board for their tireless work on the journal, and specifically for their prompt review of the articles for this special issue. I also thank the authors of these articles for choosing IPEG and JLAST as the forum for their innovative ideas. The articles in this issue represent the great work done by IPEG members around the world. I hope you enjoy this issue as it represents some of the most innovative research in pediatric surgery from around the world.
