Influence the Vision of the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute
The National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) is refreshing its strategic vision to address emerging scientific opportunities in accordance with new National Institutes of Health strategic plan requirements. NHLBI is considering whether additional compelling questions and critical challenges are needed to address topics that have surfaced as priorities over the past 5 years to drive important scientific and health advances. Apply for The 2024 Gordon Research Conference on Lymphatics Awards
Lifetime and Career Achievement Awards in Lymphatic Research and Travel and Poster Awards applications are open. The 2024 Gordon Research Conference on Lymphatics Awards (GRC) will be held from March 3 to 8, 2024, in Ventura, California. The travel awards are made possible by a generous donation from the Estate of Edwin and Susan Swartz. LE&RN is offering ten $1,000 (USD) scholarships for early investigators to defray registration and travel costs associated with attending the GRC. In addition, four poster awards (one $500 USD and three $250 USD) will be awarded for the top posters. Apply by December 21 at https://lymphaticnetwork.org/treating-lymphedema/travel-awards.
The lifetime achievement award is presented to an individual who has had a lifetime of outstanding achievements in the field of lymphatics and who must have a career spanning >20 years. The career achievement award is presented to an individual with a career of 20 years or fewer and who has demonstrated significant achievements in the field.
