Global Mortality Rates Beyond Age 110

Abstract

B y definition, a validated supercentenarian is a properly documented individual who has attained at least the age of 110 years. Various tables of supercentenarians are regularly updated online by Dr. Stephen Coles, one of the members of our Editorial Board, along with other members of the Los Angeles Gerontology Research Group (LA-GRG). For further details, please contact them through their website at www.grg.org. During this year, we will publish six different tables and graphs from the LA-GRG data, following the sequence published in Rejuvenation Research in recent years.^{1

–12} In this issue, we give a graph (Fig. 1) showing the mortality rates of those over 110 based on the historic data of the LA-GRG.
