Abstract

I
Comprehensive and thoughtful peer review is the cornerstone of our journal. We are grateful and acknowledged our prolific peer reviewers at-large in the December issue of Thyroid. At this time, we would also like to congratulate Thyroid reviewers of the year for 2020: Drs. Benjamin Gigliotti, Yasuhiro Ito, and Mary Samuels as well as editorial board members of the year for 2020: Drs. Giuseppe Barbesino, Martin Biermann, Melanie Goldfarb, and Franklin Tessler.
In 2021, our editorial board will expand to include additional international thought leaders who have tremendously contributed to our journal and who have been outstanding peer reviewers, and represent the diverse individuals in thyroidology. This coming year, we will publish the American Thyroid Association's Guideline on Anaplastic Thyroid Cancer, a joint statement on evidence-based combination triiodothyronine/thyroxine therapy for hypothyroidism from the American Thyroid Association, European Thyroid Association, and British Thyroid Association, and Management Guidelines for Congenital Hypothyroidism by the European Society of Pediatric Endocrinology and the European Society of Endocrinology. We will also have state-of-the-art and topical articles in nuclear medicine imaging, hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, and thyroid cancer. I look forward to another successful year for Thyroid in 2021 with the support of the American Thyroid Association and Mary Ann Liebert, Inc.
