Bandage and compression are a very important part of the postoperative care following liposuction surgery. In this article, the author describes his use of Reston foam dressing as a postoperative compression dressing following liposuction surgery in 140 cases. Problems with the product include skin sensitivity and early removal by patients. Proper use of the product reduces the bruising and ecchymosis following surgery.
