Abstract

We have come to the end of another year. We are pleased to see GSJ continue to grow throughout 2022. We have still faced the struggles of COVID-19, which has impacted the journal. Our reviewers have not been as able to review due to the strains on their hospitals caused by COVID. We appreciate those reviewers that have put in the time to review for us, and to our authors for their patience and understanding.
This year we are proud to have published two special issues, “Transforming Care for Degenerative Cervical Myelopathy: The Top Ten Priorities. Findings in Context From AO Spine RECODE-DCM, an International and Multi-Disciplinary Collaboration” which was guest edited by Benjamin Davies and Mark Kotter and “Spinal Robotics & Navigation” which was guest edited by Paul McAfee. We are excited to have more special issues upcoming for you in 2023.
2023 will see more changes and expansions to GSJ, including a partnership with Seattle Science Foundation to start the first GSJ official journal discussion club! Stay tuned for more information upcoming.
For all updates, don’t forget to follow GSJ on Social Media—Facebook: www.facebook.com/globalspinejournal and on Twitter: @Globalspinej. We also have a journal discussion club in myAO, the AO’s secure platform where you can share cases and discuss articles confidentially. We invite you all to join the GSJ myAO group and feel free to discuss and share your own articles as well as your favorite articles.
We hope that everyone has a Happy Holidays and New Year!
