The Chemical Behaviour of Chlorinated Additives under Medium Range Temperature Conditions

Abstract

The chemical behaviour of chlorinated e.p. additives has been examined at elevated temperatures and their failure to form a ferrous chloride surface layer is noted. Their method of adhesion has also been examined by infrared spectroscopy.
