Abstract
Sitting among those who care for the dying,
and yet I ponder, why I don't see anyone crying.
Discussing, name, place, diagnosis, and the cause underlying,
And the chaplain softly states, while sighing …
“We are here to remember those, who would have continued trying.”
For those who pass on to a place we cannot see,
should never be forgotten, not by you or by me.
Their spirit lives on through memory and love,
by families, friends, caregivers and those from up above.
And while I sit here, among those who care for the dying,
And yet, I wonder why, I don't see anyone crying.
Discussing, name, place, diagnosis, and the cause underlying,
And the chaplain softly states while sighing …
“We are here to remember those, who would have continued trying.”
